No. 07 from A Naturalist Guide to Magic in an antique early 20th century chip carved Tramp art Frame. The image is number 4 in the edition of 15, and is signed and numbered on the back. The Frame has been carefully repaired and has new archival backing. The glass is original to the frame. There are signs of it's age and handmade nature, but it is in a lovely antique condition.
During my research for A Naturalist Guide to Magic I was reminded in an article on biomimicry that "nature recycles everything". Obvious maybe, but it made an impression. Tramp frames were often carved from cigar boxes or any scrap wood available at the time, repurposed even in its original creation it fits in perfectly.
