A Photopolymer Intaglio print of Image No. 32 from A Naturalist Guide to Magic. The Image is printed on recycled, archival, heavy, handmade, cream colored cotton paper.The prints have a small edition of 4 but two are never exactly the same as they are hand torn and inked one at a time. They come with a signed and numbered certificate.
The prints are made by applying Ink to a Polymer plate and transferred to a dampened paper and run through an etching press. A tactile and beautiful way to transfer a photographic image onto a piece of paper. First developed and known as a Photogravure in the early 19th century it involved etching a copper plate, the Polymer plate is the newer non toxic version, but the inking and press used remains the same.
The print is shipped flat and well protected.
